Recitation is part of the method rather than an ornament added after interpretation. Greek and Latin are approached as sounded languages, with pronunciation, rhythm and attention to the structure of the words themselves.

Across the Orphic, Hermetic and PGM material, this work has included hymnody, divine names, vocalization, sacred speech and guided vocal practice. In the Stele of Jeu sequence, close reading moved into a full recitation, a Vocal Lab and meditation.
